Reward System

Two Main Reward Systems

League of Runeterra encourages hard work and practice to accumulate Experience points (XP) from battles, instead of Pay-to-Win. Naturally, they have made a generous and bountiful Reward System for players who invest time in the game.
To begin with, after finishing the tutorial of LOR, the system automatically provides players with 3 classic decks and 6 champion cards, which have moderate synergy already. After a few modifications of each players’ touch, the decks become powerful enough to challenge PVP.

 

 

The Weekly Vault :

Every Tuesday, players will also unlock chests from the Vault. These chests level up as players gain XP from battle and finish daily quests, up to a Maximum of Level 13, increasing the rarity of cards inside from common all the way up to champion. They also sometimes contain additional Wildcards and Expedition Token that can catch you by surprise!

Region Exploration :

 

Later on, as players discover new synergies from other region combinations, they’d want to give those exciting discoveries a try as well. This is when Region Exploring comes in handy.

As players earn XP from daily quest ( Varying from 1000, 1300, to 1500 XP. Can be re-rolled ) and battle, they not only upgrade their weekly vault chests, but also unlock different prizes from the current Region the player has chosen to explore.

 

Choose any region to explore and unlock rewards of cards from that region, Wildcards of different rarities, and Shards to craft desired cards (Changing regions whenever). As players advance, they’ll collect new allies, spells, and champions; more than enough for multiple decks.

 

Here’s a full region-worth of rewards, which you get just by playing:

  • 1 Rare Wildcard
  • 1 Epic Wildcard
  • 1 Champion Wildcard
  • 2 Random Epics
  • 1 Bronze Chest
  • 1 Silver Chest
  • 2 Golden Chests
  • 2 Platinum Chests
  • 1 Diamond Chest
  • 2 Capsules
  • 2 Wild Capsules
  • 2 Epic Capsules
  • 2 Champion Capsules

 

 

The Weekly Vault rewards relatively more prizes, compared to Region Exploring, since you need to wait a whole week for it to open.
